iStory set out to help people capture and share experiences as stories, reels, and collaborative moments — but the initial concept lacked clear flows that could support habitual use and multi-user collaboration. Without that structure, the product risked being something people tried once and forgot.

Design the product strategy and UX so individuals and groups could easily create, organise, and revisit shared stories — aligned to the stakeholder goal of increasing content-creation frequency and community stickiness.

I defined a structured journey from capture a moment to share with people/groups, and designed reusable templates and storytelling surfaces that worked on both web and mobile. I organised the interface into consistent modules — timelines, templates, collaborative spaces — so the team could add new content types later without fragmenting the experience. The deliberate choice: build modular from the start rather than ship a single-format MVP, trading a bit of early speed for a system that wouldn’t need re-architecting when new story formats arrived.

Results
The resulting UX made it clear where content lives, how to collaborate, and how to return to past stories — directly supporting deeper sessions and repeat use. Stakeholders got a clear information architecture and modular layout system that can absorb new features while keeping the experience cohesive, lowering future redesign overhead.

Conclusion
The design emphasizes user-centric thinking, a clean structure, and a modern colourful aesthetic — facilitating habit formation in personal content creation across devices.
